Driven by Passion, Guided by Responsibility
At House of Hope Orphanage, our dedicated team and board are our strongest assets. Their unwavering commitment, combined with their varied skills and experiences, make us an effective force in serving the needs of our children.
Our founder and Executive Director, Malvis Ayaba, leads our team with heartfelt dedication and passion. Her profound understanding of the children’s struggles, being a survivor herself, fuels her commitment to providing a nurturing and safe environment for every child in our care.
Our key team members, each carrying a significant responsibility, contribute tirelessly to the daily operations of our organization:
Rachel Agwe, our Treasurer and Finance lead, meticulously manages our resources to ensure the sustainability of our operations and the effective utilization of all donations.
Njifunuh Rose, as the Head of Operations and Education Programmes Manager, ensures that our facilities are well-maintained and that our educational programs are enriching and accessible to all children.
We also have other dedicated individuals who bring their specialized skills and steadfast commitment to our cause, playing critical roles in areas such as healthcare, nutrition, and counseling.
Our Board, chaired by Achu Wallinjom, provides strategic direction and oversight. They ensure that we stay true to our mission and maintain our commitment to providing a loving home for the children. The board is made up of individuals with diverse expertise, including Sarah Tezi (Board Member/Outreach Director) and McKevin A. Dormithienne (Co-founder & President), who all share a common passion for creating a brighter future for our children.
Together, our team and board work tirelessly, motivated by the belief that every child deserves a place to call home. Their dedication and commitment are the driving forces behind our continuous growth and the expanding impact of House of Hope Orphanage. Their work inspires trust and confidence in our supporters and donors, assuring them that their contributions are making a significant and meaningful difference in the lives of these children.
